Exploring Ways of Learning

All learners have their preferred way of accessing the world.

What are all the possible ways to learn, to store, and to retrieve knowledge?
Is it important to go beyond the “labels” of visual, aural or kinesthetic?
Is being a certain “mindset” a learning style? Are these labels even important?

Very often, we teach either the way we learn or the way we were taught.  Yet there are so many ways to “play” learning.  This workshop will explore how to engage all the senses, and in as many different ways as possible.

We are all uniquely wired.  Our specific life experiences shape our perceptions, the way we learn, and in essence who we are.   Our wiring is also determined by the specific way we choose to take in sensory information.

This wiring constitutes our unique learning style.  There is no good or bad, no better or worse.
It is merely a leaning towards a particular way or ways of doing certain tasks.
