Workshop and Class

Piano Pedagogy

Effective teaching is an art.  Teaching piano is a specialized art.
Questions to ask yourself:
Who are you when you walk into a lesson?
What are your main concerns and desires for this student?
What is the best curriculum to use?
What is the best way to teach rhythm?
The questions can go on and on.

In this course, you will learn what it means to be a teacher.
You will learn about the teaching process and how we learn.
You will establish a curriculum that works for you and understand what areas to teach at what level.
What areas of teaching do you want to strengthen? This course will answer that.
You will learn how to set up a studio or upgrade your present one.

This course meets all of the above and any specialized needs you might have.

Workshop structure and cost:
Workshops are organized throughout the U.S. for groups up to 200 people. Sessions run from 2 hours to full-day and are customized according to the needs of the group. Fee: $120/hour.
